2006 Cane Felice Sangiovese

Limited production (98 cases) of 2006 Sangiovese produced as a side project by David Yates of Jaffurs Wine Cellars. Perhaps some of you have met Kava, our official Jaffurs Wine Cellars mascot and welcoming committee. Kava personnally inspected (and acquired a taste for) these grapes as they were growing on the Italian Hill section of the Stolpman Vineyard. So why Sangiovese ? Although Kava has never been there we think she probably dreams of running through the hills of Tuscany in the Chianti Region. Why not a Jaffurs wine ? If it ain't a Rhone varietal it ain't a Jaffurs wine :).
